It does not contain particles or oily residues after release, has no destructive effect on the atmospheric ozone layer (ODP value is zero), and has a residence time in the atmosphere of 31 to 42 years, which meets environmental protection requirements. The fire extinguishing agent has a non-toxic reaction concentration of NOAEL = 9%, and a basic concentration of C = 8% for fire extinguishing design. It has good cleanliness (completely vaporized in the atmosphere without leaving any residue), good gas-phase electrical insulation, and good physical properties suitable for use in fire extinguishing systems. Therefore, heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent will not cause damage to property and precision facilities, has a short retention period in nature, has high fire extinguishing efficiency, and is non-toxic at a certain design concentration. It is suitable for protected areas where staff are stationed.
